Suzanne Boxer-Gassman, Ed. D.

Suzanne Boxer-Gassman worked for over four decades in the areas of education, leadership, and training.  She has been a classroom teacher, principal and superintendent in public school settings and adjunct professor at Santa Clara and National Universities.

She did consulting work and training in Leadership and Learning with schools and business across the country.  She received her BA from UC Berkeley, her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Northern Colorado and her doctorate from UCLA, focusing in Administrative Policy and Instructional Improvement.  She retired as Superintendent of Los Gatos Union School District in 2008 to follow her passions—and Rotary has been an important one of them.

In addition to all of her Rotary activities, in her free time she enjoys hiking, Pilates, Zumba and is a member of three different book clubs.  She and her husband enjoy traveling together.  They visit family in Denver often and particularly enjoy time with her grand nieces and nephews.
