Gregg Guisiana, Rotary District Governor

Gregg Giusiana has been a Rotarian for over twenty years.  He served the district twice as Assistant Governor and twice as Lieutenant Governor.  He has been and still is a member of several club and district committees.  He is a past recipient of the District 5170 Richard D King Award for his work on behalf of The Rotary Foundation and the Sydney R. Mitchell Award for being the outstanding Rotarian in District 5170.
 
He is a long time resident of Gilroy.  Amongst his many community activities, he is a past president of the Garlic Festival, past chair of the Chamber of Commerce and was selected as Gilroy’s Man of the year in 2015.  He worked for the Gilroy Police Department for 34 years, the last ten of which as Chief.  He is currently the Vice President of Academy Services at South Bay Regional Public Safety Training in San Jose.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting and Masters of Public Administration from San Jose State University.
 
Gregg and his wife Chris, who is a Morgan Hill Rotarian, have been married for 33 years, and have three grown children, Ann, Rachele and Gennifer, along with three grandchildren, Avery, Alyse and Mason. He found of saying “I joined Rotary as a career move and then stayed for the fun”.  Gregg will serve as District Governor in 2020-21
