Congratulations! Our club was recognized by Rotary International with the Platinum Presidential Distinction Award. To receive this citation we had to meet at least 3 of these 4 categories:
1. Connect leaders. Achieve a net gain of five or more members (We topped 122 members; 10 new members by adding a family & corporate membership)
2. Connect families. Organize a family-oriented service project that connects families of your members, youth program participants, and others. (We hosted many projects including families and youth Interact clubs as well as added a new family membership)
3. Connect professionally. Initiate or continue a leadership, personal, or professional development program to enhance members’ skills (Our members attended and completed the District Leadership Academy - Jeffery Barnet as well as District and International forums)
4. Connect community. Show how your club’s members are People of Action by promoting your club and its service activities on social media at least four times per month (We have 900+ followers and share the good in our community and world)
