This Rotary meeting highlighted a presentation from the superintendents from Los Gatos Unified School District and Los Gatos Saratoga Unified High School District. It was an informative community event that was recorded, part of The Rotary Club’s community service. It was decided that it will be open to the public and interested parties especially for the parents with potentially broad interest in what our school districts are thinking and planning for in reopening schools.

  • August 13 opening virtually to all elementary schools
  • Elementary classroom size 12-14/group
  • Middle school classroom size 15/group
  • Both sizes are for virtual and phase by phase opening
  • Elementary and middle school schedule sample

Reopening Los Gatos Saratoga Unified High School District 2020-2021 by Superintendent Michael Grove
  • Focus on Social Emotional Learning
  • The basis for opening phase by phase will be based upon the Community Health Directive
  • All laboratory classes are on hold until schools and students are allowed to go back to in-person learning
